Qatar, US Hold Session on Regional Cooperation as Part of 7th Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue

Washington: The State of Qatar and the United States of America held a session on regional and international cooperation as part of the seventh strategic dialogue between the two countries in Washington, D.C. The session focused on fostering collaborative efforts to address pressing global issues and strengthen bilateral relations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari side was chaired by HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, while the US delegation was led by HE Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker. The discussions encompassed a wide range of topics, including the latest developments in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, the Great Lakes Region, the Sahel Region, Afghanistan, and Latin America.

The dialogue aimed to enhance cooperation on several regional and international issues of joint interest, underlining the commitment of both nations to work together in addressing shared challenges. The meeting is seen as a significant step in continuing the strong diplomatic ties between Qatar and the United States.
