According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar defeated Romania in four sets (20-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-22). This marks Qatar's first and only win in the championship, a promising milestone and an achievement that reinforces its strong presence on the world stage. With this victory, Qatar wrapped up its participation in the championship, finishing third in Pool B with three points, behind Poland with six points and the Netherlands in second with the same tally, while Romania finished fourth and last with no points. This is Qatar's second-ever appearance at the FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship, following its debut in the 2022 edition held in Poland and Slovenia.
