Qatar Travel Mart 2024 Officially Opens Under Prime Minister’s Patronage.

Doha: Under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Qatar Travel Mart (QTM) 2024 officially opened its doors today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), with the participation of over 300 exhibitors from 60 countries. The event runs until Nov. 27. According to Qatar News Agency, the landmark event has been inaugurated officially by HE Minister of Commerce and Industry in Qatar, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al-Thani and HE Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Chair of the Board of Directors of Visit Qatar, Saad bin Ali Al Kharji in the presence of a plethora of distinguished persons, and Ambassador accredited to the State of Qatar. HE Saad bin Ali Al Kharji remarked on the significance of the event by saying, "The Qatar Travel Mart 2024 marks a strategic milestone in our ongoing efforts to position Qatar as a leading global tourism hub. This event not only underscores the growth and potential of our tourism sector but also ser ves as an important platform for fostering key partnerships, driving innovation, and advancing sustainable tourism initiatives that align with Qatars National Vision 2030. Through this exhibition, we aim to showcase Qatars unique blend of tradition and modernity, offering a compelling destination for travellers and industry leaders alike." Co-founder and General Manager of NeXTfairs, the organizers of the event, Rawad Sleem also expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, "We are thrilled to open QTM 2024, which represents a milestone in Qatar's journey to become a global tourism hub."
