London: Qatar Tourism (QT) has announced the signing of three cooperation agreements to expand its international partnerships and enhance Qatar’s position as a global tourism destination, on the sidelines of its participation in the World Travel Market 2024 exhibition currently being held in London.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Tourism (QT) stated that it had finalized a cooperation agreement with Celestyal Cruises. The agreement was signed on behalf of Qatar Tourism by Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, while Lee Haslett, Chief Operating Officer, signed on behalf of Celestyal Cruises.
Additionally, Qatar Tourism concluded a cooperation agreement with the Kazunion Rustar tourism company. This agreement was facilitated by Omar Abdulrahman Al-Jaber, Head of Tourism Development Sector at QT, and the CEO of Kazunion Rustar.
In a related context, Qatar Tourism signed a cooperation agreement with Expedia, with Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi representing QT and Rob Torres, Senior Vice Pre
sident, representing the agency.
The State of Qatar, through Qatar Tourism, is actively participating in the World Travel Market 2024 exhibition, which commenced last Tuesday and will continue until Thursday, featuring wide international participation.
During the exhibition, Qatar Tourism showcased the latest developments in the tourism sector in Qatar, leading a delegation of 33 partners from the tourism sector and four partner institutions.
The Visit Qatar pavilion, the marketing and promotional arm of Qatar Tourism, spans two floors and hosts a collection of the finest hotels, as well as various tourism destination management companies and leading institutions in the hospitality sector.
Key supporters of the pavilion include Qatar Airways, Discover Qatar, Katara Hospitality, and Qatar Calendar, all contributing to enhancing Qatar’s presence in this prominent global event.
