Changwon, – Qatar team secured bronze medal in Skeet Mixed Team competition at the Asian Shooting Championship in Changwon, South Korea. The Championship is being held until November 2, and will qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The bronze medal was won by Qatar’s duo Rashid Saleh Al Athba and Reem Al Sharshani after beating Japanese duo Hiroyuki Ikawa and Rika Orihara in the third-place match with a score of 41/34.
The first place and the gold medal were won by Indian duo Anant Naruka and Darshna Rathore after defeating Kuwaiti duo Abdullah Al Rashidi and Iman Al Shamaa in the final match with 40/37.
Rashid Saleh Al Athba had won gold after topping the man’s skeet finals. Al Athba’s gold medal came after scoring 53/60 and was followed by South Korea’s Minshu Kim, who shot 51/60. Chinese Taipei’s Meng Yuan Lee won bronze with a score of 42/50.
