Qatar Stock Exchange Opens 92.70 Points Higher

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index rose 92.70 points, or 0.88%, at the start of trading on Thursday, reaching 10,681 points compared with the previous session's close.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains across most sectors, led by Banks and Financial Services, which increased by 1.44%. The Telecoms sector followed closely with a rise of 1.24%, while Transportation saw an increase of 0.81%. Consumer Goods and Services climbed by 0.60%, Real Estate by 0.53%, and Insurance by 0.22%. The Industrials sector was the only decliner, falling by 0.47%.

By 10:00 am, the turnover on the exchange had reached QR 109.367 million, with 48.278 million shares traded across 6,321 transactions.
