Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index closed higher on Thursday, gaining 35.79 points, or 0.32%, to reach 11,342.57 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed the exchange of 126,146,759 shares, with a total value of 346,360,145.152 Qatari riyals, executed through 22,324 transactions spanning all sectors.

The session saw a balanced performance with 24 companies experiencing a rise in their share prices, while another 24 companies faced declines, and 4 companies maintained their previous closing prices.

The market capitalization at the end of the trading session increased to 675,720,483,671.815 Qatari riyals, compared to 674,242,683,955.830 Qatari riyals recorded in the previous session.
