Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced an upswing on Tuesday, with an increase of 93.66 points, or 0.93%, closing at 10,188.47 points. This marked a positive day for the stock market as it continued to show resilience and growth.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 206,720,339 shares exchanged hands, amounting to a value of QR 669,064,922.543. These transactions were conducted in 32,646 trades across all sectors, reflecting active participation from investors.
During the session, shares of 38 companies appreciated, while 14 saw a decline, and one company's shares remained unchanged. This activity contributed to an increase in market capitalization, which rose to QR 600,409,536,674.698, up from QR 594,623,952,817.526 in the previous session.
