Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange index closed trading on Monday down by 277.41 points, or 2.60 percent, to reach 10,410.16 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the session, a total of 186,168,707 shares were traded, amounting to a value of QAR 498,236,289.721, spread across 35,039 transactions in all sectors. Out of the traded companies, shares of three companies rose, 47 others declined, and three maintained their previous closing price.

Market capitalization at the close of the session was recorded at QAR 617,565,430,984.324, showing a decrease from the previous session's market capitalization of QAR 635,200,468,492.268.
