Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange ended Tuesday's trading session on a positive note, registering a gain of 112.08 points, or 0.99 percent, to close at 11,405.50 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed the trading of 238,653,699 shares with a turnover amounting to QR 949,519,400.52. These transactions were carried out across 34,915 deals, encompassing all sectors of the market.

By the end of the session, shares of 24 companies saw an increase, while 26 experienced a decline, and two companies maintained their previous closing prices. The market capitalization at the close of trading rose to QR 679.786 billion, compared to QR 671.728 billion in the prior session.
