Kuwait city: The State of Qatar participated in the 21st meeting of the Ministers and Heads of Civil Service Authorities of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which took place in Kuwait. The gathering saw the attendance of senior officials from all GCC member states.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation was led by Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, who serves as the President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau and the Secretary General of the National Planning Council. On the sidelines of the meeting, a ceremony was organized to honor distinguished Gulf talents in the civil service and administrative development sectors. Several Qatari professionals received the prestigious GCC Medal for their significant contributions to the public sector.
The Qatari honorees included key figures such as the Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Assistant Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Director of Housing and Government Buildings Affairs at the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, the Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture and Food Security Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality, and the Assistant Secretary-General for Shared Services at the National Planning Council.
Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa expressed his pride in the recognition of Qatari professionals, highlighting that this acknowledgment reflects the GCC’s appreciation for their dedicated efforts in public service. He noted the honorees’ role in advancing administrative development and fostering human capital growth in Qatar.
