Beirut:Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani has reaffirmed Qatar's full support for Lebanon in its responses to Israeli occupation actions. During his visit to Baabda Palace in Beirut, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the necessity for Israeli forces to withdraw from occupied Lebanese territories and transfer control to the Lebanese army.

According to Qatar News Agency, Sheikh Mohammed expressed unwavering support for Lebanon and its armed forces, alongside efforts to address the country's energy needs with comprehensive solutions. His discussions with President Joseph Aoun highlighted bilateral cooperation, focusing on energy, investment, and economic ties, while exploring joint projects aimed at enhancing regional security and prosperity.

The talks also addressed recent regional developments, particularly the situation in southern Lebanon and Israeli occupation actions, alongside other issues of mutual interest.
