Qatar National Bank Releases Current Deposit Rates for Multiple Currencies

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Thursday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) reveal fluctuations across several currencies. The rates are available for USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD, covering various time frames from one month to twelve months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rate for USD for one month is set at 3.65964, while the highest rate for USD, 3.40165, is applicable for a twelve-month deposit. For the JPY, the rates start at 0.70000 for one month and reach up to 1.00000 for a twelve-month deposit. The CHF displays negative rates, beginning at -0.08000 for a one-month period and -0.12000 for both two and twelve months.

The GBP rates show a slight fluctuation, with the one-month rate at 3.67000 and peaking for a twelve-month period at 3.80000. Meanwhile, the QAR starts at a rate of 4.06667 for one month and decreases to 3.73333 for a twelve-month deposit. The SAR rates remain consistent, with a slight variation from 4.50000 for one month to 4.30000 for six and twelve months.

For the AED, the one-month deposit rate is 2.05000, increasing to 3.15000 for a twelve-month tenure. The BHD rates reveal a decline from 4.60000 for a one-month deposit to 4.10000 over a twelve-month period.
