Doha: HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani has received numerous messages from interior ministers and senior security officials of allied and friendly countries expressing solidarity with Qatar after the Iranian attack on the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the officials conveyed their support for Qatar and their rejection of actions that compromise security and regional peace. They emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination among countries to address security challenges arising from regional attacks.

Messages of solidarity were sent by HE Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control of Pakistan; HE Laurent Nunez, Minister of Interior of France; HE Matteo Piantedosi, Minister of Interior of Italy; HE Fernando Grande-Marlaska, Minister for Home Affairs of Spain; HE Shabana Mahmood, Home Secretary of the United Kingdom; HE General Salvatore Luongo, Commander General of Italy's Carabinieri, and HE Dr Dieter Romann, Chief of Federal Police of Germany.

HE Sheikh Khalifa expressed appreciation for the messages and the solidarity shown, lauding the security cooperation between Qatar and its international partners and their shared commitment to maintaining security and stability in the region.
