Doha: Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) has received an ‘AAA’ ESG Rating by MSCI ESG Research, the highest possible rating under MSCI’s globally recognized environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework. In a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website, QIC said this landmark achievement places the company among the top of global insurers for ESG performance and governance resilience, positioning it as a benchmark not only in Qatar but across the broader MENA region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the rating reflects QIC’s exceptional performance across key ESG pillars, including Privacy and Data Security, Human Capital Development, and Corporate Behavior. Founded in 1964, Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) was listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange in 1997.
