Doha: Qatari newspapers have emphasized key topics in their editorials, focusing on the nation's strategic defense initiatives and advancements in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani participated in the inauguration of the BMC armored vehicles and heavy engines factory. Qatar holds a 49.9% stake in this venture, underscoring the strategic defense partnership between Qatar and Turkiye.
The editorials also highlighted the upcoming Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2026), scheduled from January 19 to 22 next year. This event marks a significant occasion on the international defense and security calendar, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030.
