Cairo: The Technical Youth Committee and the Technical Sports Committee, both key contributors to the Council of Arab Ministers for Youth and Sports, have engaged in discussions regarding various proposals on Arab youth and sports programs for the year 2026 at the Arab League's headquarters.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings saw participation from a delegation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Qatar. The Director of the Youth Affairs Department, Fawaz Abdullah Al Musaifri, led the delegation in the Technical Youth Committee, while Mohammed Ahmed Al Othman, Director of the Clubs and Sports Bodies Administration, spearheaded the ministry's involvement in the Technical Sports Committee. The committees aim to formulate recommendations for the executive office of the Council of Arab Ministers for Youth and Sports, which will make crucial decisions for the year 2026.
The executive office of the council is scheduled to meet for its 72nd session tomorrow, Tuesday, preceding the 49th session of the council at the General Secretariat of the Arab League. The agenda for these sessions includes a broad range of proposals centered on youth activities designed to benefit Arab youth through various programs, activities, and discussions. Among these are the Fourth China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, the Ninth Arab-European Youth Forum, and the Fourth Model Arab Youth Parliament Simulation.
Additionally, the agenda encompasses the Third Arab Youth Salon and training courses focusing on artificial intelligence, content creation, and youth awareness. Further topics include cybersecurity and youth mental health, the Arab Youth Excellence Award, the First Arab Esports Championship, and the Arab League Cup for Embassies.
