Qatar Engages in Key Discussions at Arab Criminal Investigation Conference in Tunisia

Tunis: The State of Qatar took an active role in the 20th Arab Conference of Heads of Criminal Investigation and Evidence Agencies, which convened at the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunis. Representing Qatar, the Ministry of Interior's delegation was led by Maj. Gen. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Jufairi, the Director General of Criminal Investigation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two-day conference focused on pressing issues in crime prevention and law enforcement. Key topics included the exploration of new crime methods and strategies for their deterrence. The conference also aimed to bolster Arab cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise among security agencies. Additionally, there was a concerted effort to discuss the development of Arab legislation to adapt to the swift changes occurring in the realm of crime.
