Paris: The State of Qatar's delegation, led by HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, is actively participating in the 61st Paris International Agricultural Show 2025. The event, taking place in Paris, France, is scheduled to continue until March 2.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar's involvement in the show underscores its dedication to fostering international collaboration in agriculture. The delegation aims to leverage best practices and modern technologies to boost sustainable food security, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030.
During discussions with HE Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty of France Annie Genevard, HE Minister of Municipality emphasized the necessity of strengthening ties between Qatar and France in agriculture. This initiative aligns with Qatar's National Food Security Strategy 2030, developed with input from public and private sector stakeholders to adapt to both local and international shifts.
The strategy's primary goal is to maintain sustainable food supplies by encouraging innovation and utilizing technology to develop agricultural and food solutions that meet environmental and climate challenges. It is founded on four key pillars: local production, local markets, strategic reserves and early warning systems, and international trade and investment.
The Paris International Agricultural Show, an annual event in Versailles since 1964, stands as the largest agricultural exhibition in France and Europe. It gathers major agricultural producers and specialized organizations to promote international cooperation and exhibit the latest agricultural technologies and sustainable methods.
