Kuwait city: The State of Qatar took part in the fourth meeting of the Committee of the GCC Investment Undersecretaries, hosted in Kuwait. Qatar’s delegation was led by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed bin Hassan Al Malki.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting included the participation of GCC Investment undersecretaries and the Assistant Secretary for Economic and Development Affairs at the GCC Secretariat. The agenda focused on the Executive Action Plan of the Investment Promotion and Integration Committees. It also highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between GCC countries and international entities in the investment sector.

The undersecretaries discussed preparations for upcoming international forums, including the second investment forum between the GCC and Central Asian countries, the Gulf-European Forum, and the Trade and Investment Forum between the GCC and Egypt, all scheduled for this year. Recommendations necessary for these events were also considered.
