Tunis: The State of Qatar participated in the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, convened at the General Secretariat's headquarters in the Republic of Tunisia. HE Minister of State for Internal Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani led Qatar's delegation during the session.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the opening session, HE the Minister of State for Internal Affairs officially transferred the presidency of the session to HE Minister of Defense of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sabah, who now presides over the current session. The assembly of Their Highnesses and Excellencies focused on addressing security challenges affecting Arab nations, reviewing recommendations from prior conferences and meetings within the General Secretariat, and analyzing outcomes from joint discussions with Arab and international entities. The session emphasized enhancing security cooperation and coordination among Arab security agencies.
