Riyadh: The State of Qatar participated in the Second Ordinary Session of the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council, held in Riyadh. The Qatari delegation was led by HE President of National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw the approval of the draft Arab Cybersecurity Strategy, alongside mechanisms and procedures for international organizations to join the Council as observers. The Council also discussed its membership in prominent international organizations and entities. These decisions are intended to create a secure and reliable Arab cyberspace.
HE Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki expressed his anticipation of welcoming all member states to Doha next November for the first Arab Cybersecurity Exercise. This event is planned as a practical platform to enhance regional cooperation, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and improve readiness to address shared Arab cybersecurity challenges.
