Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation against the Israeli occupation forces for bombing several areas within the Syrian Arab Republic. Qatar views this action as a blatant attack on Syria’s sovereignty and unity, as well as a clear violation of international law.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement emphasizing the need for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations. The statement calls for compelling the Israeli occupation to adhere to international legitimacy resolutions and to cease its repeated attacks on Syrian territory. The Ministry warned that failure to do so could lead to further escalation and tension in the region.

Furthermore, the Ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s unwavering support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity. It also expressed backing for all regional and international initiatives aimed at establishing security and stability in Syria, and at fulfilling the aspirations of its people.
