Qatar and Solomon Islands Sign Air Services Agreement


Montreal: The State of Qatar has entered into an Open Skies Air Services Agreement with the Solomon Islands during the 42nd Session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly.



According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was formalized by Mohamed bin Faleh Al Hajri, who is in charge of managing Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, and HE Frederick Kologeto, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communication and Aviation of the Solomon Islands.



This agreement allows designated carriers from Qatar and the Solomon Islands to operate unlimited passenger and cargo flights with full traffic rights. It aims to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the field of air transport.
