Manila: The second round of political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of the State of Qatar and the Republic of the Philippines took place in Manila. This important meeting was chaired by HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi for the Qatari side, and HE Undersecretary of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations and ASEAN Affairs, Maria Theresa Lazaro, for the Philippine side.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on cooperation relations between the two countries and the exploration of avenues to support and enhance these relations. Moreover, a number of topics of common interest were addressed during the consultations.

The event was attended by notable figures, including HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Philippines, Ahmed bin Saad Al Hamidi, and Acting Director of the Asian Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al Johara Yousef Al Obaidan Fakhro, along with the accompanying delegation.
