According to Qatar News Agency, the MoU was signed by QCAA Acting President Mohammed bin Faleh Al Hajri and CASSOS Chairperson Nari Williams-Singh. The signing event occurred during the CARICOM Forum, themed "Strengthening Regional Cooperation in Aviation Safety and Security for a Sustainable Future for All," which coincided with the 42nd Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal, Canada.

The agreement seeks to improve collaboration in areas such as aviation safety, security, air navigation, and environmental sustainability.
