Doha: Qatar Airways announced today the resumption of its operations with four non-stop flights a week between Hamad International Airport (DOH) and Malta International Airport (MLA). The latest addition to the airline's network in Europe affirms its commitment to maintaining global connectivity.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer Thierry Antinori stated that Qatar Airways is keen on supporting global connectivity with its resumed operations in Malta. As the only Middle Eastern airline offering non-stop services to and from Malta, the airline aims to provide convenient travel experiences for passengers interested in exploring Malta's vibrant environment and landscapes. Antinori extended an invitation to global travelers to experience seamless travel with Qatar Airways, facilitated through their award-winning hub at Hamad International Airport.
Malta International Airport CEO Alan Borg expressed that Qatar Airways' return is a valuable addition to their schedule, supporting efforts to expand connectivity. Borg emphasized the resilience of the industry and reiterated the commitment to supporting the airline's growth in the region.
CEO of Malta Tourism Authority Carlo Micallef remarked that Qatar Airways' direct service resumption between Doha and Malta is a significant recognition of Malta's tourism potential.
