Prime Minister of Qatar Meets Turkish Foreign Minister to Discuss Regional Issues

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan, during his visit to Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the strategic relations between Qatar and Turkiye, exploring ways to enhance and develop these ties. The discussions also covered regional developments, particularly concerning the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored Qatar's ongoing efforts in joint mediation to bring an end to the conflict in the Gaza Strip. He reiterated Qatar's unwavering support for Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, as well as the aspirations of the Syrian people for security and stability.

His Excellency also conveyed Qatar's appreciation for Turkiye's efforts in promoting peace, security, and stability on both regional and international levels.
