Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Abbas Araqchi. During the call, they discussed ongoing efforts to de-escalate regional tensions.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's support for initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and achieving peaceful solutions that enhance security and stability in the region.

His Excellency also emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to shield the region's populations from the effects of escalation. He highlighted the need for continued coordination with brotherly and friendly countries to resolve differences through diplomatic channels.
