Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares. During this call, they focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and discussed the ongoing developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, along with other topics of mutual interest.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar's gratitude towards Spain for its supportive stance on achieving peace in the region. He highlighted the need for increased regional and global efforts to end the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, ensure the continuous and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid, and facilitate the release of hostages and prisoners.
Moreover, His Excellency reiterated Qatar's commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at resolving the Palestinian issue through peaceful means and emphasized the importance of implementing the two-state solution.
