Prime Minister and Saudi Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani has held a phone call with HH Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides deliberated on the cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, exploring ways to further strengthen ties. The discussions also focused on regional developments, particularly efforts related to a ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and reinforcing regional security and stability.

During the call, HE Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the importance of all parties responding positively to mediation efforts to address the root causes of the crisis through dialogue and peaceful means. He stated that such efforts were necessary to reach a sustainable agreement that would prevent renewed escalation in the region.
