Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met Sunday with HE the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Tom Fletcher, who is on a visit to the State of Qatar. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and the United Nations, with particular attention to regional developments, especially the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions underscored the significance of regional and global collaboration to facilitate the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Both parties recognized the critical need for coordinated efforts to address the challenges faced by populations in conflict-affected areas, reaffirming their commitment to humanitarian principles and international cooperation.
