Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Joins Six-Party Meeting on Palestinian Issues

Cairo: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani participated in the six-party Arab ministerial meeting on the situation in Palestine, which was held in Cairo at the invitation of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting gathered foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates, alongside the Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, representing Palestine, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League.

The discussions during the meeting focused on several key issues, including the displacement of Palestinians, the consolidation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip. The need to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in performing its UN Mandate was also emphasized.

During the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip. He pointed out that such actions could renew confrontations in the Occupied Palestinian territories and exacerbate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
