Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call with HE Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. The conversation focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and discussing recent regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders explored Pakistan's efforts to support de-escalation and promote security and stability. During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed appreciation for Pakistan's role, alongside other mediating parties, in facilitating the ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

His Excellency reiterated Qatar's full support for mediation efforts aimed at resolving the crisis through peaceful means. He emphasized the importance of all parties responding constructively to foster conditions for renewed negotiations, with the goal of achieving a comprehensive and sustainable peace agreement.
