Doha: Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk called on his country and other European nations to prepare for the possibility of a large-scale conflict with Russia by 2027, affirming that his government will work over the next two years to strengthen stability and ensure national security.
According to Qatar News Agency, Tusk's statement on Saturday was based on an analysis presented by NATO's new Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), General Alexus Grynkewich, during a recent conversation between the two. This assessment suggests that both Russia and China could be capable of carrying out a coordinated confrontation against NATO countries and the United States by 2027.
Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, Western estimates vary regarding the potential timing of the conflict expanding to other European countries. However, the year 2027 is currently considered the most likely near-term possibility.
