Doha: The Police Academy held a ceremony, on Thursday, to confer diplomas upon the first cohort of graduates in police sciences.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event was patronized by HE Minister of Interior and Commander of Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, in the presence of HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani.

Those in attendance were several officials, senior officers, and the graduates’ parents, with HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs handing over the certificates to 98 graduates. The Police Academy launched the police sciences diploma program on Oct. 1, 2022, encompassing a range of academic courses, military and physical training, general lectures, specialized courses, and field visits to security departments.
