This development comes on the heels of a successful operation last Saturday, where the judicial police in Salé, working in coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, caught two individuals red-handed in the act of trafficking and marketing 1,740 psychotropic tablets. Subsequent investigations, still ongoing in connection with this case, led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the pharmacist believed to be the supplier of these illicit substances. As part of the ongoing probe, searches conducted in relation to this case resulted in the confiscation of a registry, suspicious invoices, and prescriptions. Additionally, authorities seized a sum of 300,000 dirhams, suspected to b e proceeds from this illicit trade.
