Nablus: A Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire on Tuesday morning during a raid in Al-Ain refugee camp, west of the West Bank city of Nablus.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that the individual sustained a gunshot wound to the leg after the Israeli occupation forces entered the camp.

Earlier at dawn, Israeli troops also conducted operations in the eastern part of Nablus, patrolling several streets. No injuries or arrests were reported during that incursion.

The Israeli occupation forces have escalated their assaults on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in recent months, intensifying arrest campaigns, home raids, and the use of live fire across numerous towns and cities.
