Tammun: A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Tammun, southeast of Tubas in the occupied West Bank.
According to Qatar News Agency, citing local sources, the Palestinian man was martyred after special forces infiltrated the town in the middle of the night, opened fire on him, and seized his body. The occupation forces obstructed the work of medical crews in the town, preventing them from approaching the martyr’s body and transporting it to the hospital, the agency added.
Last night, the occupation forces launched a military operation in the town of Tammun, which lasted for several hours. During the operation, they raided homes, detained a number of Palestinians, and arrested two young men, one of whom was wounded.
The occupied West Bank has witnessed an escalation in Israeli attacks in recent months, coinciding with the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces have intensified raids, arrests, and indiscriminate shooting in various Palestinian cities and towns.
