Palestinian Prime Minister and EU Official Deliberate on Recent Developments in Palestine

Ramallah: Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Moustafa engaged in discussions with the European Union's Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process, Christophe Bigot, in Ramallah on Sunday. The meeting focused on the latest political developments and updates from the field in Palestine.

According to Qatar News Agency, Prime Minister Moustafa emphasized the critical importance of supporting Security Council resolutions concerning Palestine, with a particular focus on the recent resolution regarding the Gaza Strip. He highlighted the urgent need to open crossings with the enclave, provide temporary shelters, and ensure the supply of reconstruction essentials. Furthermore, Moustafa called for intensified relief efforts, efficient removal of rubble, and measures aimed at economic recovery.

During the meeting, Christophe Bigot reaffirmed Europe's unwavering commitment to supporting the two-state solution and the realization of a Palestinian State. He assured continued European support for the Palestinian people at all stages, underscoring Europe's dedication to the peace process and stability in the region.
