Gaza: A Palestinian was martyred and others were injured Sunday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of Palestinians east of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli drones shelled Palestinians who were checking their homes in the area, which led to the martyrdom of one and the injury of others.
The Israeli occupation has continued its war on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, leaving 48,271 martyrs, most of them are children and women, and injuring around 111,693 others. Meanwhile, a number of victims are still under the rubble as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity entered into force on Jan. 19.
