Gaza city: A Palestinian was martyred Monday as a result of Israeli artillery shelling targeting the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli forces have continued artillery shelling in the eastern areas of the city since the morning hours.

Since the ceasefire agreement took effect last October, the death toll has risen to 603, with a total of 1,607 injured.
