Palestinian Injured by Israeli Occupation Forces in West Bank

Sinjil: A Palestinian was injured Friday by Israeli occupation forces' fire in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at a gathering of residents in the al-Tall area, south of the town. The area had been subjected to an attempted raid by a number of settlers. The sources noted that approximately 30 settlers detained two citizens and a foreign activist inside a vehicle, assaulted them, and threatened to kill them near a settlement outpost being established in the area.

An Israeli army force arrived at the scene, where its members detained the citizens and the activist for about two hours before releasing them.

In a related development, occupation forces arrested two children in the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin, after storming the area and driving vehicles through the streets. Other soldiers raided the nearby town of Jaba', without announcing any arrests.

It is worth noting that the occupation continues its escalation in various areas of the West Bank, coinciding with the war of extermination it has been waging against the Gaza Strip and its residents since October 2023.
