Palestinian Foreign Ministry Calls International Community to Force Sustainable Aid Access to Gaza Strip

Doha: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community today to assume its responsibilities to force the Israeli occupation government to allow sustainable aid access to the Gaza Strip. The ministry emphasized the urgent need for international intervention to ensure that humanitarian assistance reaches the region without further delay.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry reiterated in a statement that the Israeli government employs hunger as a weapon to impose its political conditions. It stressed its rejection of the politicization of aid and the use of it as a blackmail card, which would only deepen the suffering of more than two million Palestinians. This call comes during the holy month of Ramadan, a period already marked by the exacerbation of deep suffering due to ongoing conflict and displacement.

Earlier today, the Israeli occupation announced the suspension of the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and the closure of crossings until further notice. This move has raised significant concerns among international humanitarian organizations and neighboring countries, highlighting the urgency for a coordinated international response to address the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region.
