Palestinian FM: Netanyahu’s Greater Israel Remarks Confirm Intent to Eliminate Palestinian Cause

Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Monday evening, considered the statements made by Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the so-called Greater Israel vision as an official Israeli acknowledgment of the intentions and objectives of the occupation government to eliminate the Palestinian cause, swallow historic Palestine, and fully annex it. According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry described these remarks as a persistence in the colonial and racist nature of the occupation's policy, especially toward sister Arab countries, undermining their security and stability, and threatening both Arab and national security. It viewed the primary danger resulting from such provocative and inciting calls as an attempt to eliminate the rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right to establish a Palestinian state on the ground. The Ministry called on the international community and world countries to seriously address Netanyahu's statements, considering them a blatant violation of international law, a flagrant challenge to UN resolutions, and an attempt to conceal crimes of genocide, displacement, and annexation, pushing them away from the international agenda and distracting countries with an endless cycle of misleading positions and slogans to buy more time at minimal cost.
