Qalqilya: A Palestinian child died Wednesday of a critical head injury he sustained by Israeli occupation forces in the city of Qalqilya, northwest of the West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted local sources as saying that 16-year-old Hamed Fadl Muwafi from Qalqilya was shot in the head by live bullets fired by the Israeli occupation forces while he was near the separation and expansion wall.

He was subsequently transferred to Qalqilya Hospital, where his injury was described as critical, before his death was announced.
