Amman: The Palestine Youth Orchestra (PYO) held a concert, under the title of Gaza the sacrifice and heroism, at Amman Academy Theatre in Jordan.

The event drew 120 young Palestinians residing in diaspora who saluted all sad people in Gaza through performing a wide variety of songs and music rhythms.

PYO is primarily composed of Palestinians whose ages range from 14 to 26, most of them live in the Americas, Europe, Australia, as well as in Jordan, Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon.

Some of those young Palestinian do not speak Arabic language, because they represent the second and third generation of immigrants, whose ancestors left Palestine in 1948 and 1967.

Director of PYO, Lamar Elias, said the musical rhythms that were chosen for this concert centered on steadfastness and resistance and comprised even the western classical instrumentals and musical pieces.
