Pakistani, Turkish Foreign Ministers Discuss Developments in Gaza

Doha: Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar discussed international and regional developments during a phone call Tuesday with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip and steps to achieve lasting peace in Palestine. During the call, the two sides also discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop it.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation aimed to address the ongoing tensions in the Gaza Strip and explore potential diplomatic solutions to achieve lasting peace in the region. Both ministers emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts and mutual support in addressing the humanitarian situation and political challenges in Palestine.

Furthermore, the discussion highlighted the longstanding bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Turkey. The ministers explored avenues for further strengthening this partnership, focusing on areas such as trade, cultural exchange, and defense cooperation. Both sides expressed a commitment to advancing mutual interests and supporting each other in regional and international forums.
