Pakistan Prime Minister, Japanese Counterpart Discuss Middle East Developments

Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his Japanese counterpart, Sanae Takaichi, discussed the latest regional developments and the recent Pakistan-mediated talks between Iran and the US during a telephone call today. Sharif asserted that Pakistan would persist in its efforts to maintain the ceasefire in the Middle East.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Japanese Prime Minister reiterated her country's full support for the peace process, emphasizing its significance for regional stability and global energy security.
