Islamabad: Pakistani Army Chief of Staff Asim Munir met with the visiting Tajik Defense Minister Sabirzada Imamali Abdurahim to discuss ways to enhance defense and military cooperation between the two countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, during their meeting in Islamabad, both sides affirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening existing military cooperation, particularly in the areas of training, counterterrorism, and regional security.
On this occasion, the Pakistani Army Chief of Staff emphasized his country's commitment to deepening security, defense, and military relations with Tajikistan, and the importance of joint efforts for stability, peace, and prosperity in the region.
